Junior Golf Policy:
Juniors ages 6 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult to play on the course. All parents/guardians must fill out a Junior Cart waiver for them to ride along. No children under the age of 6 are allowed on the golf course for safety concerns.

The Hill Course and Creek Course at Moose Run make up the America's Northernmost 36 Hole Golf Facility. We offer a fun and friendly atmosphere for all types of golfers. Moose Run Golf Course is also one of the state’s best places to practice and to learn the game.
The Hill Course is aptly named because of the gently rolling hills that make up the front nine. The Hill Course’s layout is easily walk-able and offers a perfect introduction to golf for beginning golfers and juniors, while still delivering a challenge to the seasoned player.
The Creek Course is so named because of Ship Creek that meanders through and alongside some of the holes. Being tucked in at the base of the Chugach Mountains, both courses have some of the most beautiful views of this mountain range. A game of golf at either of these courses is often like a trip to a wildlife sanctuary.
Golfers may see both brown and black bear, fox, wolf, lynx, sheep, bald eagle and, of course, moose. Photo opportunities abound and many golfers are seen with their cameras at the ready. While Moose Run Golf Course is a military course, it is open to the civilian community and the many tourists that come here each year. Moose Run Golf Course offers a practice facility including: large driving range, two grass chipping ranges, and three practice putting greens. A perfect way to sharpen your game.

Creek & Hill Courses
Located Outside the Gates of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson
As the only 36 hole facility in Alaska, Moose Run Golf Course is one of the premier military golf operations in the world. We are extremely proud to call it a golf destination for our airmen, soldiers, their families, our DoD civilian employees, guests from the local area and around the world. With two of the state's top rated courses built on over 500 acres of Alaskan wilderness adjacent to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), it is common to see the natural inhabitants roaming the golf courses on a daily basis. The Chugach Mountains serve as a constant backdrop and Ship Creek meanders majestically through the property. Moose Run Golf Course is a golf experience that must be seen to be appreciated.
We are conveniently located 20 minutes from the Ted Stevens Anchorage Airport on the Northeast end of Anchorage, adjacent to the Glenn Highway. Look for the brown Moose Run Golf Course information signs located just before the Arctic Valley Rd. exit on the outbound side of the highway and just before the JBER-Ft. Richardson exit on the inbound side.
